Why Building Muscle Is Important

Did you know that he average adult in the UK is pre-diabetic or has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes or poor metabolic health?

That’s a whopping 40-50% of the population!

But did you also know that your muscles are the most important part of the body for regulating your blood sugar levels?

75% of the glucose in your blood is used up by your muscles.

So the more muscle mass you have, and the more you move it, the easier it is for you to regulate your blood sugar levels.

The best way to build muscle is through resistance training and studies have proven that resistance training 2-3 times a week is the best way to build and maintain muscle mass.

So with a reduction in your sugar intake and regular resistance training you can easily lower your blood sugar levels and get yourself into the healthy range.

Remove excess sugar from your diet…

…and make your fitness class ‘a bit too hard’ for you by choosing a weight that will challenge you...

Then you’ll see results!
