6 Ways to Reset Your Health

Do you ever feel like you know exactly how to get yourself healthier, but don’t know where to start?

Why not change your mindset this coming week and make a few healthy changes.

Can you try any or all of the following ideas?

✅ Start the day with warm water and a slice of lemon to re-hydrate before you hit the caffeine.

✅ If you want to, in the morning you can either eat when you’re hungry (welcome to the world of fasting), or simply eat breakfast at your usual time. But make your first meal of the day rich in protein.

✅ Keep all of your meals rich in protein and include plenty of veg, avoiding wheat based products as much as possible.

✅ Reduce your sugar intake as much as you’re able to. Do you usually have a fizzy drink or biscuits at about 3pm? Cut them out and have something else instead! (Tip: fruit is a great option)

✅ Another habit that goes hand in hand with low sugar and low wheat is a low alcohol intake. Can you limit alcohol to one drink on a Friday and one on a Saturday? Your liver will thank you and your mood will improve.

✅ Leave your phone and any other devices out of your bedroom, turned off and in another room at night. A good night’s sleep will result in a happy and productive day.

Remember, sugar, wheat and alcohol (plus potatoes and rice) are all SUGARS so that’s why we need to try to reduce as much extra sugar as possible to allow for the sugars we don’t realise we are eating.

Here’s a bonus tip:

✅ Book and diarise your workouts so you commit to keeping fit. If you’re booked in you’re more likely to attend instead of opting for the sofa.
